PYP NURSERY

PYP KINDERGARTEN had a special assembly based on the theme of Christmas. The assembly started with thought of the day and rhymes by kids. The children then proceeded with the School song. All the children were dressed up in red/white dresses. Kids sang Christmas carols and the assembly ended on happy note wishing everyone Merry Christmas.    HAPPY NEW YEAR AND HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!

Visit to Church To understand the significance of Christmas, Students of  IBPYP  from Nursery to Grade 5  visited  a local church wherein they offered prayers and got themselves acquainted to the worshiping traditions of Christianity/ the story of Jesus Christ. The serene atmosphere of the holy place indeed filled them with energy and positivity.

IBPYP  kindergarten students displayed their fine motor skills through FUN WITH SHAPES competition. Kids showcased their creativity with blocks and clay. Shapes surround us everywhere and this was demonstrated by our kids the way they participated enthusiastically in the competition. I BPYP strongly believes in inviting community...therefore a parent of PYP nursery was invited under the theme Sharing the planet to have an interactive session with the kids on line of inquiry 'Why do we need animals?'. The discussion was followed up by a puzzle game on animal.

SEEING IS BELIEVING Education is a joint effort between parents and school to train the next generation of children to be independent and prepared for what’s ahead. IB PYP treats parents as partners in Educating the child and hence wants them to remain updated with the day to day involvement of their child in Scholastic and Co-Scholastic areas.  PYP team has revived the PYP Blog for all PYP Grades for the parents to go through on daily basis and witness your child’s growth. This PYP Blog will serve as a  platform for communicating electronically to keep in loop and update the parents about the day to day activities of our PYP students in the school.
